Eamonn Hughes

Bio

Originally a sculptor, Eamonn Hughes studied Fine Art Sculpture at Wimbledon College of Art, London, progressing on to an MA at The Royal College of Art, London, from which he graduated in 1997. Though he was immediately successful as an artist, gaining commissions to create stone carvings for high-profile sites in Maiden Lane and Saylesbury Square in London, Eamonn was presented with the amazing opportunity to assist session hair stylist, Sam McKnight.
Now a successful stylist in his own right, Eamonn is in constant demand from celebrity, advertising and editorial clients. Boasting a select range of celebrity clients, Eamonn’s film credits include working on the acclaimed film ‘Notes on a Scandal’ at the request of its star - Cate Blanchett, with whom, he has collaborated on several projects. As well as celebrities Gwyneth Paltrow, Kate Moss, Jade Jagger, Giselle Bundchen, Iman, Maggie Gyllenhaal, Elle MacPherson Natalie Imbruglia, Naomi Campbell, Naomi Watts, and Uma Thurman. Over the years Eamonn has worked with a diverse range of photographers including Alice Hawkins, Chris Floyd, John Scarisbrook, Ben Dunbar-Brunton, Rankin, Nick Knight, Mert & Marcus, Jez Tozer

His editorial credits include Another, Vogue (British, Russian, US), Marie Claire, Tatler, Pop, i-D Magazine, Flaunt, Citizen K, Harpers Bazaar, V Men, GQ Style.
